Forty-eight years old, but who’s counting, right?
The good news was that she had the day off and she went shopping. The bad news was that the rest of us had to work and wait to really celebrate her birthday until later. The good news is the kids had half-days of school today, so she and Miranda could go out together this afternoon. The bad news is some of it was boring ol’ grocery shopping for milk and bread. The good news is I could leave work a couple hours early, too.
Prezzies were before dinner. Miranda created a gift for Tammy, which turned out beautifully. Ian went for… um… touching?
Tammy is setting up my gift now… an Apple Watch Series 5.
We went for dinner at the New Dynasty chinese restaurant in Crowfoot. We’d never been there before, but I think we will probably go back. The food was really good at the buffet. Maybe a little too good… considering we needed to come home and sing Happy Birthday and then eat cake.
