Crafty Time

Over the last few days the kids and I have been working on a sewing project: reversible fleece hats. The first day was cutting out the pattern, deciding on fabric, and cutting out the pieces. We paused for a day because of lack of space due to studying and Simon fiddling around with our internet set up. Today we continued and finished them. We also got to use Judy-Lynn’s sewing machine (thank you again) for the first time. There were a few mechanical issues (thread tension) and some stitch ripping and re-sewing, but we succeeded. They turned out quite well.
