Baking and Setting Up a New Mac

‘Twas the day before Christmas and all through the house, lots of stuff was getting done. There’s too much to list right now, but I will say that Tammy’s baking was the highlight. Home made sausage rolls and butter tarts…

I finished the 24th day of the Advent of Code first thing this morning. Then there was making Tammy a card, and after lunch I started setting up the new M1 Mac Mini. I ordered it in late November when I saw what a success Tammy’s MacBook Air was. Our main computer is a Mac Mini that was new in 2013. It’s seven and a half years old and ready for retirement. I used the Migration Assistant to move everything over and I think things are sorting themselves out.

Ian’s excited: he wants to use this computer for games and for video editing.

Tonight’s movie is It’s a Wonderful Life. We’ve had a good run of Christmas movies this year.
