BCC Ambassadors Wrap Up Party

Last night, the club president (and Bow Cycle Parts Manager) Mark Fed invited all of the BCC ride leaders over to his house for an evening of eats, drinks and croquet. Despite having done the Saturday endurance ride to Cochrane in the morning, I rode over to Mark’s holding a container of bourbon fudge that Tammy had made earlier in the day.

It was a good time, with about 15 or so people on the deck, plus one large husky dog named Flurry who was joined by Brett’s dog later in the evening when he arrived.

Others arrived after I took the pictures, including Liz, Phil, and Brett. Some couldn’t make it due to work, family things or even COVID isolation. 😢

Highlights included me winning the early croquet game. All those years playing in the back yard really paid off. Will brought a carrot cake that he made himself that was really good. Kurt gave out some prizes to the ambassadors who led the most rides. I gave a short speech thanking everyone for all they’d done.

Around 9:30, Tammy showed up on the purple bike and we rode home together. It was a beautiful night for the 8th of October.

Here’s a pic from today’s ride to Cochrane.
