Today is Mother’s Day and it started off with some cinnamon roobios tea and biscuits in bed before Miranda brought up a beautifully designed breakfast plate. It was all very delicious. She and Murphy went together on a gift for me: an apron with an exclamation from a character on a BBC TV show called Ghosts. Their card was original piece of modern art by Miranda. We will have to display it somewhere. She also brought home a peanut butter ice cream cake that she decorated with puddy prints. It was delicious. Thank you. 💜 Ian made me a card featuring Murphy and his new friend Topaz. He captured Murphy’s attitude and expression perfectly. 😂 His gift to me was supper: linguini with homemade pesto sauce. MMMM! Thank you. ❤️ Simon gave me a Calvin-inspired card and a Snoopy Swatch. It’s really cute one. Thank you. 💞
It was lovely weather again today. We got up to 22 degrees, but there was a fair wind blowing (gusts up to 44km/h) so it didn’t seem super warm.
