Riding for Wellspring

I have signed up to ride in the Cancervive (can-survive, get it?) ride on September 10th this year. This ride is in support of Wellspring Calgary, a registered charity offering free programs and services that meet the emotional, social and practical needs of people living with cancer – those diagnosed, caregivers and kids.

This is very similar to the Cycle of Life Tour that I did in 2017 to support Vancouver Island Hospice, except it is one day only, no camping. There are different distances from 25 km to 110 km for riders of different abilities. I will be riding the 110 km distance, starting in Banff, AB.

Lee Jackson, a member of the Bow Cyclist Club, brought this ride to my attention. He works with this organization. We have a team of five (so far) BCC riders taking part and raising money.

If you could support me, that would be fantastic. Here is the link to my donations page.
