It was so bitterly cold here in Calgary over Christmas and New Year’s, but now it’s turned nice. Last night it didn’t drop down to freezing and the temperature got up to eleven degrees today. It was nice enough that Ian and I went out on the back deck and replaced all the burnt-out light bulbs on the hanging strands and then took down the Christmas lights out front.

Then we even barbecued some hamburgers for supper. No snow on the back patio: I stood out there in my sock feet.

If this keeps up maybe I’ll get to go for a real bike ride this week. Some intrepid people from the club did this morning, but I gave it a pass.
