When Ian turned 16 in the summer, his friend Joey and Josh were travelling, and then we were in Victoria, and then school was starting…
He and his friends finally got their act together and Ian finally had a birthday party with his friends.
It started at 10:00, with Ian driving (with me in the copilot seat) to pick up Joey and Josh from their houses. Then he drove over to Canada Olympic Park where the Skyline Luge is. They each got four runs down the hill. I went for a walk, and then came back and managed to get a few shots with the telephoto lens.
Afterwards, we went over to Superstore to get some Mountain Dew Zero, ice cream and a couple other things. Then it was back to our place for hot dogs and smokies. Birthday cake was a mix of cherry chip and devil’s food cupcakes that Tammy frosted and filled with marshmallow.
They played Xbox and ping pong and then later headed over to Joey’s to keep playing.
Looks like fun for all and the weather co-operated.
