Yet another posting today! Don’t worry: tomorrow’s going to be much duller. 😉
This afternoon we stopped by Mom and Dad’s place for a visit. My cousin Shelley from Kamloops was there; I haven’t seen her in a donkey’s age. I’ll hazard a guess of 15 years. We had a great yak, but then it was time to go. We got double-booked for dinner, so we trundled off to Colin and Carol’s. It was supposedly a belated birthday dinner for Tammy, but we hadn’t seen them since January, so it was a very belated birthday for Carol, too. Miranda played strange for a bit (which I’m sure was a little distressing for Grandma and Grandad), but before long she was being her little charming self. Dinner was chinese food from the Golden Chopsticks. It was delicious. Thanks for dinner!

Just wanted to let you know how much I really appreciated you folks fitting me into busy weekend. It was really nice to have met you Tammy and baby Miranda:) Yes Simon, it has been some time since we last saw each other as the last time I was down it was only Stephanie and Evan Vern & Button that were at the house. At times the world seems so small and yet other times we make excuses and don’t take the rest of the world in. I always enjoy great laughs and stories with you and your family.
