Dang. I was starting to think I might make it through the spring without having hayfever. This morning when I got to the office I had sore, watering eyes and a running nose. The question is: what set it off? There are a few possibilities:
- It’s been wet lately and possibly suppressing pollen, but it’s been dry for a couple of days now;
- I rode my bike partway to and from work yesterday and to work today, perhaps it’s the increased exposure;
- Some particular species of plant may have started pollinating this morning.
Would be good to know exactly what causes the hayfever. Whatever it is, it’s local to southwest B.C., because I didn’t have hayfever at all in Prince George.
