Bricklaying, Russian and Frolicking on the Lake

I dare you to come up with a more unlikely list of activities for a Saturday. 😛

On Wednesday this week, I managed to talk to Nigel so that I could coordinate what he was planning to do to fix the spots of my yard that got damaged with his trials next door with what I’ve been doing: namely laying the edging bricks. So it turns out that he would like me to finish the bricks first. This means that I need to finish laying them ASAP, so I worked all day on it yesterday, and three hours this morning.

Then I needed to get cleaned up for lunch and my Russian lesson from 1 to 3. I had a test today, and did well on it. After that, we were out the door to Kal Tire, Superstore, and then a swim, barbeque and games with Brian, Sharon and Lucy at Brian’s parents’ house on Langford Lake. For those keeping score at home, that’s the same place we went last year. This time was just as much fun. Miranda still doesn’t think much of swimming in the lake. She’s more of a chlorinated pool girl. 🙂

We had great fun, but man I am tired now.
