Christmas Vacation

Miranda’s been finished exams for a week, and Tammy still has a “work” day today, but Ian and I are finished school/work.

Wrapping, last minute shopping, etc. today. Christmas Eve tomorrow. It’s snowing lightly now at -23. It’s been around -30 for a week.

This week, Ian got an award at school. We got a letter last Friday:

Congratulations! You have been selected as a Bowness Valued Student. At Bowness High School, we believe that it is important to recognize consistent commendable behaviour and effort. As a Bowness Valued Student you have been an exemplary citizen of Bowness High School in many of the following areas:

– awesome behavior
– an outstanding role model for peers

Each teacher at Bowness High School was asked to nominate one or two deserving students. You were nominated by Mr. Creary for your work this semester.
Certificates will be presented to all recipients on Monday, December 19 at lunch in the main gym.
We are very proud of your accomplishments at Bowness High School.

Way to go, Ian! 💚💛

Advent of Code is wrapping up. Yesterday required making paper crafts to help visualize the problem.
