Date Night

Yesterday was my first day back home, but it wasn’t really a day off. The Bell project refuses to get finished, and I got drawn in for overtime. Shouldn’t be any today, but after that work yesterday, Tammy was adamant that we were going to go out on a date night. It was more of a date “late afternoon”, because we went to see a 4:25 movie, then brought dinner back home for everybody.

On the Avengers theme, Ian finally got his wish to try shawarma. At the end of the Marvel’s Avengers movie, Tony Stark insists that all the heroes go for shawarma. Ian has wanted to know what that is, so we stopped by a place in Crowfoot and brought back a beef shawarma, chicken shawarma, beef donair and falafel. Ian liked the donair best, Miranda liked the falafel best, and Tammy liked the beef shawarma. I liked them all…
