I finished day one without mishap. More to come later. I might have felt like doing a full post now, but the kids just had their bikes stolen.
I’m not in the mood.
They were at Market Mall. The bikes were locked and in a high-traffic area. I went to pick them up, and they came outside to find the bikes gone.
Here’s my attempt at a silver lining:
- Miranda’s bike was a hand-me-down from Tammy back six years ago. The bike itself was ten years old. It was in great shape, but at least it wasn’t brand new.
- Ian’s mountain bike was getting small on him. We’d already been thinking about getting a new one.
Doesn’t make it sting any less.
