Day One of Teacher-Induced Vacation

Today and tomorrow I am taking vacation days to look after Miranda and Ian. The teachers are having some sort of an education summit here, so the kids are off school these days. Add in Family Day on Monday, and it’s a five-day weekend! 🙂

So, today after breakfast, I took the kids to Nakiska and we went skiing. It was another great day. Very warm and sunny. The kids are getting better, although they both had crashes today that were hard enough to pop off a ski. We were on our way back home before one. The rest of the afternoon was pretty relaxed. Miranda is at her friend Chloe’s house for a sleepover tonight. I have to go pick her up tomorrow at 10:00. Everybody help me to remember, ok?

Hmmm… didn’t we have two kids before?
