I’m happy to report that the technician from Trail Appliances came this morning and fixed our dryer. It turned out that the root cause was a broken heating coil, and he had a replacement with him.
I can’t help but think that there was a lesson learned last Thursday. Every time we thought that the day was as bad as it could get, it got worse. The inoperable dryer and unhelpful dealer fell somewhere in the middle of that.
We can thank Mother Nature for some nice warm days on the weekend, that allowed a couple of loads of laundry to air-dry out on the deck. That was the difference between this being a serious pain and a minor inconvenience.
