Family Photos

Back in May, we had Steven and Krisztina and their girls over to our place for a birthday party for my 50th. We did a BBQ and cake. We said “no presents”, but they gave us a coupon for a family photo session. Krisztina is a professional photographer. This sounded like a good idea; unfortunately we procrastinated a bit on setting it up, but we finally got around to it last Monday night. We were going to meeting Krisztina at Confederation Park because it’s a good outdoor location with opportunities for photo taking. But when we got there it was a zoo. There was a high school cross country meet happening. So we quickly changed venues to Baker Park, where Miranda and her friends took graduation photos in 2021.

We spent about 45 minutes and she took lots of photos. She coached us and positioned us and it was fun. Then the next day, she sent us a link with all the photos for us to choose one for editing and printing. I lightly edited some that I thought were the contenders and then put it to the family. A couple were the front runners, but we selected #3 and let Krisztina know. At some point, we’ll have a lovely family photo. We will also print out some of the others as well.

Let us know what you would like a print of!

Then there were lots of great photos of ones and twos, too.

It was a great experience. Highly recommended.
