Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! Mine’s started out well (if you can ignore the cats playing in a box at 4:30 this morning which I had to take away from them). Miranda brought me my card in bed this morning and Tammy brought me a coffee. Soon we’ll be making crepes. This afternoon, Dad and I will be going to Western Speedway to watch the drag races, and then going back to Mom and Dad’s for a dinner. Stephanie, Evan and Zachary should be there, too.
Also, Miranda figured out how to open a door this morning. 🙂 I went into the bathroom to have a shower and closed the door. I turned around and there she was, giving me that big grin of hers. I put her outside the door and closed it again and asked her if she could do it again, and after a few tries of twisting the knob, she opened it again. Let this be a warning to anyone who visits: remember to lock the door when using the bathroom!
