What with the long flight, the lost luggage, the dry (boring) speakers and unspeakable fluorescent lighting in the main auditorium, there hasn’t been much to write home about. Thankfully much of that is rectifying itself. I may still face the long flight home, have to put up with the “New Staff Track” sessions for another 1/2 day and the fluorescent lighting, but at least I have my luggage! 🙂
On another positive note, we had a group activity tonight, which culminated in teams building contraptions to protect an egg during a drop. Our team tied for the win, with our aptly named vehicle “The Unit”. Let’s just say it bore a striking resemblance to something.
