Before we moved from Sooke, I made a spreadsheet of the kids’ heights by age, as measured from the doorframe to the closet in our bedroom. Painting over that was a very hard thing to do.
We have continued measuring the kids since we moved to Calgary, but I hadn’t updated the spreadsheet. I did so at lunch today, and here’s the result:
The interesting things I see:
- Miranda’s growth is starting to taper off. We’ll have to see if that’s a new, slower steady state, or will it come to a stop?
- Ian has been taller than Miranda by age all the way along, until now. He is exactly as tall as Miranda was when she was the same age (9).
Quite amazing the closeness of them.
