This afternoon-evening we went out on a “double date-plus a spare”. Jeff, Sasha, Ivan, Simon, and I went to see a 4 o’clock matinee of Stranger Than Fiction at Silvercity. It was a really good movie with an interesting mix for the cast. It was a more serious role (I think) for Will Ferrell, but he did a good job. I enjoyed it enough that I would like a copy of it whe it hits DVD.
After the movie we went to Bill’s Chinese restaurant on Goldstream. We had never been there, but Jeff and Sasha frequent it. The food was really good. We had sweet and sour pork, pork fried rice, almond chicken, shrimp chop suey, chicken chow mein , and ginger beef.
Thank you to Sveta and Gena for watching Miranda and thank you to Jeff and Sasha for supper and a great night out. We’ll have to do it again.
