Hailstorm

After the beautiful night we had last night, tonight is making up for it with a vengeance.

The skies had been threatening this evening, and there was rumbling of distant thunder after dinner. But it seemed far enough that Tammy and I actually went out for a walk. We got as far as the crosswalk at the train station before I took another look at the sky and realized we’d made a mistake. We walked and ran back home just as the hail started to come down.

The hail was intense, but not large.

The storm kinda wrecked my plan to get some pictures of my new bike. My Norco Section that Mark built up from the frame was finally finished yesterday evening. I rode my Roubaix down to the shop early in the hopes that it would be. I paid for it and we transferred the bike computer mount, under seat pouch and rear light, then put on some bottle holders and then I was off and leading a bike ride.

Me and my new whip

It was a great ride. The feel of the bike is very different from my Roubaix and I loved every minute of it. Maybe tomorrow I’ll get some more pictures.
