Today I’m 51!
I started the day with getting partially dressed (still in jammie pants) before breakfast. My breakfast was a chia “pudding” with greek yogurt and fruit with a wholesome breakfast muffin and coffee (made in the old CorningWare stovetop percolator). After that I opened presents and cards. With it being a work day, I tried my best to make it as light and easy (for me) as possible. I scheduled a listening assessment on taxes for my students which took most of the morning. 😜 Then we played a grammar game and did a dictation after lunch, and then they were off to their usual Tuesday afternoon workshop. In the afternoon, Miranda made me a special drink. It was called a Jus Alpukat. Wow! It was amazing!
After work, I shovelled the driveway (it snowed today) as my limited amount of exercise. Miranda went to the Bernard Callebaut chocolate shop and bought a selection of chocolates for us to sample. We had bento boxes from Edo and surprise “cake” and unicorn from Murphy. We also had a Vampire’s Kiss cocktail with dessert.
This evening, Simon and I are going to see Marlowe at the Odeon. We finally get to use Ian’s Christmas gift to us. 😄

Glad you enjoyed your birthday. It certainly was unusual for us to be out “on the town” until 11:30 on a Tuesday!
