It was a quiet Easter Day this year. The weather was behaving itself, which is unusual. We get snow on Easter pretty frequently, but today was sunny and warm.

The kids looked for eggs in the bonus room this year. In the night, Murphy went and found one of the eggs and was batting it around.

Miranda worked at Abbey’s, and it was a quiet day for the rest of us. Dinner was turkey with stuffing, potatoes, corn, yams and some baked parmesan & bacon Brussels sprouts. The only glitch was that we forgot to put the turkey in the oven. Normally, we put it in fairly early for a “late lunch”, but since Miranda wouldn’t be around until suppertime, we got everything else done first. Then Tammy and I were playing Minecraft and Tammy suddenly realized that the turkey wasn’t in the oven yet.

I ate too much. Quelle surprise. Ian and I went for a walk after dinner, which helped a fair bit. I still stayed up later waiting for dinner to digest. I watched the women’s Paris-Roubaix ride on my iPad. Alison Jackson, a Canadian 🇨🇦, won the race. It was amazing. There are some of the people in the BCC who know her.

Happy Easter! 🐣
