I wanted to try a new recipe for fondant (hand made instead of store bought) and all I can say is wow! It doesn’t taste like play-dough! It is a Marshmallow Fondant recipe and has a nice vanilla taste to it. Also did a better Buttercream Icing recipe, tastes like normal icing. The cake is a box cake and it worked perfectly. This is a “Chocolate Box”, actually has Purdy’s chocolates inside. This is for mom for Mother’s Day (she hasn’t gotten it yet but will in an hour – doesn’t know about it yet).
