Yep, this week I’m in Hogtown. I’ve been parachuted into a project which is facing a deadline and needing of my skills. So far it’s not going too badly, and I’m being productive already.

The flight out here wasn’t bad. It was a Victoria-Kelowna-Toronto hop, I stayed on the plane in Kelowna. There was satellite TV on the plane, so I got to watch two episodes of the Simpsons and one of the Family Guy as well as this Mythbusters show on Discovery.

No sleep last night: arrived at the hotel about 12:30 local, and was up at 6:30.

Just thought I’d check in to if you were sending any information. I’m glad your flight was okay. You don’t mention anything about the snow! How come no sleep last night? Time change? Have a good week and a safe journey home. Love, Mom

  2. Thanks Mom 🙂

Yes, there’s snow here, and it snowed a little bit today, too. Nothing to worry about, though. The temperature isn’t too bad. I walked about 20 minutes into the wind this morning and suffered nothing more than rosy cheeks.

Yeah, the time change was a problem yesterday. I arrived a little after 8 Pacific, but that’s 11 Eastern, and by the time I got my luggage and got to the hotel, it was after midnight. But I managed to survive today and look forward to about eight hours of sleep tonight.

  3. LOL… enjoy the sleep while you can. I’m sure Miranda will save all her sleeplessness for when you return.

    😛

Just kidding, hope all goes well and take it easy out there.
