Tonight we went over to our Jeff and Sasha’s to attend the birthday party of their daughter Katya. There were lots of people and kids there, including Katya’s cousins Annika and Lauren and another friend, Natasha. For those keeping score, it was five girls and no boys. A funny little statistical blip… The ages ranged from Annika who is a month older than Miranda, down to Lauren, who turns one next week. It was mostly parallel playing, but sometimes they played together.
There were some appetizers made by Sveta and then there was lasagne and salad for dinner, and a cake from the Lighthouse Cake Factory in Langford. Katya’s cake was the Raspberry Decadence (in the list here).
Katya got lots of presents. Tammy crocheted a green and purple poncho and hat for her.
