Ho ho ho! π π» Merry Christmas!
It’s late morning now, and the gift unwrapping is done. Now it’s all about getting ready for a turkey lunch. The turkey has been in the oven for over an hour now, and the veggies are prepping.
Another year and again I found myself doing last minute shopping and wrapping. I got about 8 solid hours of the nice “everything’s ready” feeling before it was time to sleep and then wake up for Christmas…
We were up at seven and opened stockings before cards and breakfast. Tammy’s stocking was stuffed with many interesting things.
Everyone else’s stockings had various jams and preserves (and Tammy had leftover black currant from the advent birds) that made breakfast extra special.
One of the nicest things was last night a package was dropped off at our house by William, one of Tammy’s students from a ways back. She talked so much about Mr. Murphy in class that William bought Murphy a present and card. Murphy was so interested. I think he’ll like it when it’s set up, too!
Merry Christmas to all!
