My Creations

For the past few weeks, I have been doing nothing much. It’s either checking BC Ferries schedules, checking Amazon for deals on products I want, binge watching Apple TV, or some random activity. But, one thing I do sometimes is make Minecraft structures. For the builds that I do, I use a Minecraft modification called Worldedit. Worldedit is a tool for Minecraft that makes building much quicker. I will post a video for more info on Worldedit.

So far, I have built two structures. The first one being a Cargo ship. It was first built on April 5, 2020, then upgraded on April 11, 2020. For the first original build, it took me around 2-3 hours to build. How I built this ship was that I build one half of the ship (except the containers and cabins) and once I was done, I flipped the one half to the other side, then built the containers and the wheelhouse and cabins. When I upgraded the ship, I just changed the colour and added a logo. If you don’t know, the logo stands for “Unspeakable Container Shipping”. The upgrade took only 10-20 minutes. Here is the two photos of the ship.

My second build is something taller, something on land. Something that got built in the ’70’s. Something that no longer exists and got replaced with another building that has the same name. My second build is the World Trade Center (1973-2001) This is a skyscraper that I have been dreaming to build for a long time. This build didn’t take me as long as the Cargo ship. Probably 30-1 hour. This build is still in progress, but for now, on the outside, it looks like it ever did. I even aligned them as they did, the north tower to the left of the south tower. Of course, comparing from my version to the real version, there are differences. The main one being that mine is not the same scale as the real ones. The real ones being 415-417 meters high and mine being 164-212 blocks high. The real ones having 110 floors and mine having 40 floors. The reason for this is because Minecraft has a building limit. Only able to build up to 256 blocks. If there was no limit, I definitely would’ve built it to scale. Here is the photos:

  1. They really look awesome! I think the ship looks snazzier in blue. The towers make you feel like you’re really there looking up at them. Great job!❀️

  2. I really like your original cargo ship and view from the bottom of the towers. I was wondering why Minecraft has a building limit of “256” blocks?
