Yesterday, I went into the office downtown to do some work, and I got a message from Tammy in the afternoon that we were going to meet Stephanie and the kids for dinner and then a bit of a play at her house. We converged at the Royal Roads Cafe just after five and had a nice dinner.
We headed back to Stephanie’s (with me yelling “our car!” as we followed Steph in her new (to her) Mazda 5 :-)) and she suggested walking over to where they were building a new play park. It wouldn’t be done yet, but it would be worth the walk to check it out and let the kids get the ice cream out of their system.
Well, as it turns out, the park was open.
It was lots of fun, and I imagine we’ll be back lots.
