I have always wanted one of these mini-hobart-like mixers, but they have always been so expensive that I couldn’t justify buying one. I figured I’m quite capable of using a little, or a lot with some recipes, elbow grease. Thanks to Simon ❤️ finding a certain cookbook at Powell’s Books while we were down in Washington State, many of the recipes suggested a standing mixer as a necessary tool. After making one of the recipes I agreed. Simon went researching around and found a site from a company in Cowichan Bay. After much humming and harring we bought one with the food processor attachments. Today Miranda and I made some cookies to try it out and I made a dough for some rolls. I tell you it makes everything a little TOO easy. Here it is:

  1. I can’t believe that you’ve gone this long without getting one, given your penchant for baking things. 🙂 This one truly seems like a super duper one that will last basically forever. It doesn’t look like a Kitchen Aid or even the Braun mixer Mom has, but it works.
