Yesterday, I saw this out the window:
They appear to be a nesting pair of partridges. They stayed overnight in our back yard, and are still there this morning.
I don’t know how long they will stay or if they are planning on nesting back there. We’ll see. And Murphy will be watching.
Too bad you didn’t have a pear tree.
