1. Offer was a little low. We countered. Waiting to hear back.

2. Heard back. Prospective buyers want to pull the title before countering. They will get that by 10 tomorrow morning. It’s pretty much out of our hands for tonight.

3. Still no word. We’re guessing the Land Title wasn’t to their liking.

4. Of all the days for there to be a power outage at the head office, where my development server is. :-@ I was enjoying having work to distract me from the waiting.

6. That’s what we’re waiting for…their counter offer. The deadline was supposed to be 10 this mornng for them to counter, but we haven’t heard a peep. Maybe the land title said they couldn’t build the sort of structure they wanted in our back yard and now they need to rethink if they want to buy. (Why they didn’t do this before making an off I don’t know.) Oh well. We have acall into her to see what the hold up is, so maybe we’ll hear back this.

7. We just heard from Tammi. It seems that written into the title is a clause that says before anyone builds anything on this land it must get approval from ABC Holdings. The buyer doesn’t like the idea of someone telling him what he can/can’t build and is afraid that if they buy and build it’ll have to be torn down. So, Tammi went to a lawyer to see if this company even exists anymore, but we’ll have to wait until next week for the results. Plus she’s trying to convince the buyer that this clause really doesn’t mean anything.
   We came so close, but I think these people have been scared off.

8. Elmer says that the clause is good for 7 years only.

9. Thanks for the tip. I’ll pass it along. I don’t really expect any more developments this weekend, if we are waiting in a lawyer.
