Some more than others. Miranda is overtly winning. As in: we got a call from Joanne at the Royal Bank this morning and she wanted to speak to Miranda. I asked what it was about, and Miranda had won a prize in their Christmas colouring contest. When we went to the Royal Bank to talk about our line of credit on Wednesday this week, they gave her and her brother a colouring sheet and some crayons. They said it was for a contest, and Miranda was all excited about that. Well, I guess her colouring was good enough to win a prize. So we went down there and she had her picture taken getting her plush “Arbie” doll and a coin set.
The rest of us are winning, too: Tammy baked a cherry pound cake. It’s fresh out of the oven and looks good.
Thanks to Mom for giving us the recipe over the phone this morning. We went with Mrs. Aubrey’s recipe.
Well done Miranda, you are always a winner to us.
