You know, considering how dead-simple our financial lives are, this day always is more stressful than it should be. This year’s added wrinkle was Miranda doing her taxes for the first time, thanks to her job at Abbey’s. Hers ended up a net-zero, so no biggie there, but thanks to our giving her a non-standard name with two middle names, there was a foulup setting up her CRA account and now we have to wait until a non-holiday day to call them. 😔
Other than that, all is well. Done for another year with WealthSimple. IMO, “SimpleTax” was a better name. Every year now I have to look up what they changed their name to.
