Best Lightning Storm

I’m postdating this post because it’s been pretty busy around here and I’m getting around to it now.

There was a fantastic thunderstorm that came through Calgary. It was interesting, because it brought torrential rain if you were underneath it, but I didn’t hear about any hail damage. There was at least one fire that started from a lightning strike, though. This was a few houses down from Kurt’s place in Wildwood.

We took a lot of video. It went on for hours, including when it got darker, slowly drifting northeast. We weren’t under the path, so we got front-row seats to the light show.
