Date Night

Nothing conspired against us this week!
Last week we were supposed to go for a couple’s massage at Apex Massage Therapy, but our battery died. Luckily, I was able to reschedule it for tonight without any penalty. We showed up about 10 minutes before our appointment. It’s a very popular place. Our two massage therapists came to collect us. You wouldn’t believe the size of Simon’s masseur. He was built like a football player and nearly as tall as Simon. I wouldn’t want a full Swedish massage from him. 😳 I thought it was great. She really got the knots out of my legs and neck. Plus, I got a fabulous scalp massage. I’m considering taking Miranda for a hot stones treatment for her birthday.
After the massage, we went out of supper at Joey’s Only. The Cheesecake Factory no longer exists, so we had to think of a family restaurant-type place near us. (There are surprisingly few.) He had the crispy chicken sandwich and I had the fish sandwich. It was very tasty and I found the portion size refreshing. It was not a mountain of food, but just the right amount.
Now we’re back home and trying our Advent beverages. At some point, I will make a posting about them.
