And to follow up on Tammy’s Good Friday post, here’s the Happy Easter Sunday one!
The ham is in the oven in preparation for our lunch, but the kids have already found the eggs and there has been a moderate amount of chocolate consumed as well as blueberry pancakes.
The Easter Beagle left little nests for Tammy and the kids:
Miranda spent time last night making an Easter Bunny out of rainbow loom elastics (man, she really is good at it).
The other major activity has been Ian practicing his new ukulele. We went and picked one up for him yesterday at Long and McQuade after months and months of him asking. He’s been fixated on it for such a long time and yet he’s been very patient about it. We got him a beginner one that had decent construction and tuning pegs that wouldn’t go out of tune right away. So far, it’s been a hit, with him strumming away both with me and alone in his room. 24 hours in, and he’s learned C, F and G really well, as well as G7, D, A, Am and others.
Generous Easter Bunny!!! Obviously the Bunny didn’t hide the eggs to well. Have fun Love Mom and Dad, Nana and Grandpa.
Happy Easter! 🐇🐣🐇
