We had Jeff, Sasha, Katya and Alyosha over last night for a dinner of homemade pizza. Was a good visit. Both Ian and Miranda ended up in tears at different points during the night. Ian wasn’t getting his way at one point and started feeling sorry for himself, and Miranda got her head bonked by her bedroom door. No lasting harm. The kids had a lot of fun regardless.
The funniest bit was that before supper, Jeff and I had a decent conversation about Star Wars and the upcoming movies. Then when we were having supper, Alyosha and Ian were at the kiddie table, and spontaneously started having a conversation about Star Wars. I’d like to think that the grown-up conversation was more in-depth, but the parallel made me laugh. They were so serious, talking about how they like Star Wars. 🙂
