MEC Spring Ride 2015

Is it that time of year again? It sure is.

Today was the Mountain Equipment Co-op Spring Ride. It was a different route that previous rides. It started further south than I’d ever been from Calgary: starting at the Bar U Ranch Historical Site and headed 50 km south of that (and back again).

I’m back in one piece, if a tad sore and tired. It was a beautiful day with sun and a few scattered clouds. I rode most of the day with a guy who was wearing a “BICI Bucerias” shirt. I asked him about it, and he had been on vacation in Bucerias, Mexico and participated in a Gran Fondo there. I thought that was a nice little touch on the day.
