Last week, I thought “as long as I get through this week, I’m home free.” I had a three-day workshop to get through, and as far as I knew, my only big responsibility for this week was the writeup. But then… I think everybody found out that I wasn’t taking Christmas break early. My week looks like it was carpet bombed. And I still have to get this document done.
It’s not helping me feel Christmassy.
No Christmas party, obviously. But my pay had an extra amount on it as a compensation for that loss: Esri did that for everyone in the company. No matter what else happens this year, I have to say that the whole year, Esri has been doing a great job of keeping us informed and that’s meant that we’ve been comfortable knowing that things were okay. It’s leadership, and it’s from the top.
You will just half to keep on “slugging” along. Christmas break is near! Also nice for the extra pay!!
