We made the right call to work on the deck yesterday, because last night, the first thunderstorms of the year rolled through. There are supposed to be more today, and everything is wet or damp outside today.
Here is a short time lapse of the first storm. The kids were in bed but I suggested to Tammy that Ian should make a time lapse of the storm: it was flashing regularly and slowly moving to the north.
I might have decided to add an ambient track to it, just for giggles.
Reminds me of the nights where we would sit on the couch and look out the front window to watch the lightening storms when we were young…
