This evening, it has been 30 years since mum passed away in the Hospice of the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria. I thought I would post a few photos.
The first is from the late ’80s. I took many candid shots, and this one is of mum wrapping up after mowing the lawn at our house in Sidney.
The second is one she insisted on having taken of all the women on her side. In the back is my late aunt Sharon. In the middle left to right, is my late grandma, mum, and myself. In the front are my cousins Yvonne and Kendra (in Yvonne’s lap).
The third one is a portrait my mum had taken at Sears in November, 1993. (She would always have a yearly one done of me.)
I can’t believe it has been 30 years. Miss you mum. xxxx
It’s been a very long time. I think that she would have been happy with the life you’ve made since then.
