Faded, Then Restored

Back in the day, we got a “baby’s first year” picture frame as a gift. When Miranda was a year old, we took the time to get pictures printed that fit in the little windows to complete it. We went out an bought one for Ian when the time came, and we’ve had them up on the wall ever since. The weird thing is that while Ian’s pictures still look fresh and vivid, Miranda’s faded. When I was going to put the frame back up after the painters did their work last week, I took a serious look at the photos’ condition and set about fixing it.

I uploaded the same photos to London Drugs’ photo centre website, did a bit of sizing, etc. and then rode my bike up to collect them when they were ready. A bit of taping later, and the result is much improved.
