Bussing and Shopping

It’s not much of a posting, but right now with me laid up, there isn’t really a lot going on. I mean, since the doctor told me on Monday that I’m still not supposed to drive a car, I had to ask Tammy to drive me and the kids to the mall so we could do some shopping for her birthday on Friday. 🙂

So we did that last night. Tammy had the kids at piano until 6:15, so when I finished work I hopped on the bus and took it to Market Mall. Then Tammy and the kids drove over to the Mall. We had dinner in the food court and then we went our separate ways: I took the kids around so they could get some gifts for Tammy, and she went to a few stores on her own. It was a good trip, and the mall wasn’t very busy between 7 and 8 on a Wednesday night in late February. Go figure! So now we wait until tomorrow when Tammy has her birthday.

The other news of the day was that Tammy finally got the necessary cable to connect an iPhone to her new car stereo. The part had been back-ordered, but it was in and she went and picked it up yesterday. It works well. In fact, her new stereo works very well, period.
