Thanks to the 11 hour difference between Sochi and Calgary, the Canadian mens’ gold medal hockey game against Sweden was at 5:00 am this morning. After the Canadians beat the Americans in the game Friday, immediately the question was: “are you getting up on Sunday to watch?” 🙂
I knew I was going to get up. And I asked the kids if they were going to get up early to watch the game, and they were excited to. Tammy even got in the swing of things, making a hearty breakfast. There we all were, after five in the morning, watching the game and eating a great breakfast. It was lots of fun.
