I know that we haven’t posted much since our first day of vacation. The truth is that we’ve been a mix of busy and ill. Tammy still hasn’t fully gotten over her cold: it’s settled in her chest and is keeping her up at night. Also, on Sunday we went skiing, and that evening Ian started barfing. He still isn’t fully up to snuff, either. Combine that with getting the last bits of shopping done and wrapping gifts, there hasn’t been a lot of free time.
Because of Tammy’s and Ian’s delicate state, we’re not going skiing today as planned. We’re going to stay in and have a board games day today. It’s a bit less than what I would have wanted, but the sooner they are fully better, the sooner we’ll be able to do more (and get a full night’s sleep).
We still haven’t gone out to see the last Hobbit movie. We’ll get around to it eventually.

Today’s game selection:
So far, Simon has won Uno (Miranda was the weener), and Miranda won Cadoo. Time for some lunch.

Miranda won our game of Roborally, but Nochie was sad. She wanted to play, but doesn’t have opposable thumbs.
I certainly hope you are all better in time to enjoy a family Christmas, some hot rum, lemon and honey at bedtime definatley helps.
Feliz Navidad from Bucerias
Hope you are feeling better soon and wishing you all a warm and cozy Merry Christmas, love & hugs.
Fleas Navidad to you too! 😉
Or fleece a navvies dad.
Never mind Nochie…you will have your Christmas stocking soon…:)
I’m sorry Tammy & Ian aren’t well yet. Soon. Merry Christmas to all. Love Mom & Dad/Nana & Grandpa
Well, we didn’t get back to the games: the kids wanted to make more stop-motion movies using Lego / Minecraft figures. So we had an “appy” dinner, and after dinner watched a few Simpsons Christmas episodes, then threw in the Max and Ruby Christmas DVD. I wonder how many more times we’ll ever play that one? It was a fun throwback to when the kids were small. I read my usual ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, and added How The Grinch Stole Christmas as well.
Tammy and I watched The Ref, and have just done our yuletide transfer of the packages. Off to bed. Who will be up first tomorrow?
Merry Christmas.
