With all the home re-finishing that’s been happening this week, Easter kind of snuck up on us. I know my first thought when I realized that Good Friday was this week was “Awesome! I full day to paint!” 🙂
The weather isn’t particularly springlike today, although it’s supposed to be nice later in the week. This was the sky this morning as the kids prepared to hunt for eggs:
Eggs were found. Miranda found six, and Ian five this year. Not a bad showing for Ian. He didn’t need any extra help, except for the one that he found on a shelf but couldn’t reach. Naughty Easter Bunny.
Breakfast was deluxe: blueberry pancakes, sausages and bacon.
It helped us ignore the snow outside. Then we got to work putting the bedroom in order and hanging pictures, both old and new. Tammy has made a super duper carrot cake for dessert after our roast beef dinner tonight.
Your breakfast looked scrumptious. The cake would have a big piece missing Tammy if it was here,yummy yummy….Happy Easter to you all, sorry our Easter card didn’t arrive on time. Sent some old pictures to Aunty Audrey same day and she hasn’t received them either. Dad
