Here I am, at the Greenway Inn for the third time. Might be the last time for a while, but never say never, right? I’m here finishing the system design for AFSC. Carlyle and I are pretty much done, and we’ll be presenting the results to management, users and IT this afternoon. There’s a decent chance that I’ll be able to go home tonight, if the review goes well. That’s a double-edged sword, because the weather isn’t exactly conducive for driving today. It started snowing as I was heading here yesterday morning, and has continued to snow lightly since. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny. Driving the QE2 between Calgary and Lacombe isn’t really that bad, assuming that nothing goes wrong, like a whiteout. The road is straight and without a lot of turns or hills. Yesterday’s drive here was okay, but I wouldn’t do it voluntarily.

  1. Might be wise to spend the night and travel in the day when you can see something — even if it is only the snow blowing around!
