I’ve shut off the old blue Mac G3 and the external SCSI drive, moved the new web server to the closet and closed the door. The web server is quiet, the iMac I’m sitting at is almost silent. I can make out the hum of the external speakers.
Or maybe it’s my stuffed up head that’s humming. I’ve managed to catch the cold Miranda came down with Friday night. It’s pretty predictable: Miranda goes to some sort of children’s group activity (Sportball on Wednesday), and she comes down with a cold a couple days later. Then I follow soon after. I wonder how I’ll feel in the morning. There’s nothing better than sitting for over an hour on the bus with a cold. I’d rather not, thanks!
I hope you feel better Simon. I found the number of colds increased around the same time as Lucy entered daycare. Can’t recommnend nasal flushing enough.
Wait until she enters Kindergarten!
I think part of the answer is just basic hygiene: getter her to wash her hands more often, especially after these group activities. But I agree: kindergarten will not be fun.
